how it works
How your child learns financial literacy on iMasterly
- 1
Start at their grade
Your child gets a money path built for their grade and works through it at their own pace.
- 2
Short lessons, then practice
Each topic is a short lesson followed by practice questions, with every answer explained, so ideas stick instead of skimming past.
- 3
You see the progress
Your parent dashboard shows which money topics are done and where your child needs more time. Stuck? They can ask Ms. Emma.
Questions parents ask
What age should kids learn about money?
As early as kindergarten. iMasterly starts with what money is and needs versus wants, then builds a little more each grade through grade 8.
What topics are covered?
Coins and counting money, needs and wants, saving, budgeting, earning income, bank accounts, interest, payment methods, smart shopping, digital money safety, entrepreneurship, taxes and investing. Every topic is listed in the syllabus above.
Is this taught in school?
Often only briefly, if at all. iMasterly gives your child a full K–8 path alongside their regular school subjects.
Is it too advanced for younger kids?
No. Each grade has its own topics: younger kids work with coins, needs and wants, and saving; investing and taxes wait until the middle-school grades.
